YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Summary:
The Director Strategic Accounts, Nutrition is responsible for the leadership and strategic guidance of a team of Strategic Account Executives, including accountability of that team for achievement of sales and profit growth targets and execution of Brenntag Nutrition's Strategic Accounts Program strategies.
- Leads and motivates team of Strategic Account Executives to achieve or exceed budget goals and objectives and successfully execute Brenntag strategies.
- Drives commercial excellence execution including a strong focus on:
- Collaboration between Brenntag operating companies and third-party entities.
- Proactive sell price and margin management
- Opportunity pipeline development and management with high closure rates
- Proactive customer retention
- New business development selling Brenntag's Nutrition full product portfolio and services.
- Provides guidance and influences commercial decisions throughout the Brenntag organization regarding Strategic
- Account project strategies, contract development, producer partner programs, pricing, RFQs, etc.
- Actively participates in customer meetings and presentations at existing and prospective Strategic Accounts.
- Develops profitable pricing strategies with Strategic Accounts Executives to ensure appropriate price harmonization.
- Develops and implements RFQ/Bid strategies with Strategic Account Executives that increase success rate and ensure profitability goals and expectations are met.
- Negotiate commercial terms and conditions and contracts commensurate with customer commitments to Brenntag.
- Collaboration with Credit and Finance to support and influence payment within approved terms by our Strategic Accounts.
YOUR PROFILE:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Master's Degree preferred.
- 10+ years in a seniorlevel commercial role in a matrix organization and/or chemical distribution field sales experience
- 5+ years of' experience in sales management or seniorlevel commercial management in a matrix organization
- Experience managing national or multinational companies.
- Experience in chemical distribution.
