POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Pilot Plant Process Engineer,
along with the Pilot Plant Manager, is responsible for the preparation of all Production
Demonstrations for the Zeolyst group. This position will also have
responsibility for the capital improvements of the Pilot Plant. The position is
located at the companys R&D facility in Conshohocken, PA.
More specific responsibilities
include:
Provide routine technical support of CONSWEP including audits of plant performance, quality control, operator training and recommendations to improve operations.
Contribution as part of a team effort to required engineering projects.
Develop bid packages for capital projects.
Manage construction and installation.
Ability to operate hands on and independently.
Excellent verbal and written skills to work with operators, plant staff and senior management.
High level of technical ability and problem-solving skills.
The ability to motivate, function well in a team atmosphere is required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
In addition to the necessary skills
and experience to perform the responsibilities outlined above, there are a
number of traits that a successful candidate will possess.
Technical
Bachelors degree in chemical engineering.
Minimum of 6-9 years of Engineering experience.
Ability to analyze production information and prepare reports for management.
Experience with SAP is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Access, PP).
Knowledge or experience with AutoCAD or Visio is a plus.

The Process Engineer must also

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work well as part of an R&D team.

Strong aptitude for reporting and consolidation systems, and desire for process improvements required.
