About the Position


The Fabric Associate, Knit & Luxletic is responsible for managing many of the department's daily tasks from the initial sampling through bulk production of fabric for Knits & Luxletic.

It is essential to remain organized, up to date and accurate in all areas to assure proper costing, quality control and on time development, sampling and bulk production occurs.

The Fabric Associate, Knit & Luxletic Fabric will work with the Manager of Fabric/Trim for all knit and Luxletic fabric management, development and re-sourcing for Lilly Pulitzer.

Develop product with design and technical design that meets the needs of the consumer, aesthetic requirements, corporate margin, delivery goals, and first quality goods to achieve total Company Net Sales.

Research, innovate, execute, develop and source fabric that meets the needs of the consumer, aesthetic requirements and corporate pricing goals.

Review, analyze, and save fabric test reports, make recommendations or approvals to ensure the final product is able to perform to company's standards.

Manage the execution and production of Knit & Luxletic fabrics in Salesman Sample Yardage and Bulk.
Prepare and issue sample purchase orders for all nominated fabric needed at various development and sample stages.
Maintain reports and systems for all knit and Luxletic fabrics in Centric.

Qualifications for the Position

A four-year college degree is required, preferably with a major/minor within têxtiles, design, apparel, apparel production or an equivalent.
Relevant experience, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Access, AS400, Centric is helpful

A Little More to Know

This position is classified as full-time salaried; it is exempt and is not eligible for overtime. This position is eligible for standard company benefits.

This position is required to maintain a structured hybrid work schedule based out of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia.

This hybrid schedule, which includes work done in the King of Prussia Office as well as your Home Office will be determined by your supervisor.

The position requires some domestic and international travel.
Given the seasonality of the business, this position may require flexible, additional working hours during peak periods.

This position is expected to collaborate effectively with other individuals in alignment with our Core Values and Core Leadership Qualities.
