    Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

    Job type: Full-time W2

    Clearance Required: Secret

    Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid)

    Job Description

    Looking for a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our client team in San Diego, CA. Use your expertise to provide technical support and analyze satellite and ground network infrastructures for the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS).

    Your key responsibilities include:

    • Experience in satellite communication systems.
    • Knowledge of space-based network security standards.
    • Experience with ground station operations.
    • Designing, troubleshooting, and managing hardware and software components.
    • Leading network architecture design and implementation.
    • Designing network functionality improvements.
    • Expertise in network protocols, security standards, and optimization.
    • Participating in network system performance analysis.
    • Providing recommendations on system integration and engineering changes.
    • Leading system testing and validation.
    • Developing operational procedures for network management.
    • Assessing and integrating engineering activities across projects.
    • Analyzing contractor concept designs.
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Ability to mentor junior engineers.
    • Continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of ten (10) years of network engineering experience.
    • Hands-on experience with various network equipment.
    • Experience in fast-paced environments.
    • Strong communication skills.

    Education Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
    • Master's degree (Desired).
    • Certifications like CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP).

    Clearance Requirements:

    • Active DoD Secret clearance to start.
    • Active Top-Secret Clearance (Desired).
    • U.S. Citizenship required.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience in DoD or Intelligence Community environment.
    • Experience in satellite programs preferred.
