- Assist in maintaining the general ledger by posting journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and accruals.
- Review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.
- Assist in the preparation of payment runs and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments.
- Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and variance analysis.
- Participate in financial audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis as requested.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Assist with tax filings and other regulatory compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support and analysis as needed.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
- Provide support to the finance team in various tasks and projects.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required.
