This role requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to present compelling narratives that drive impactful change.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive investigations into a wide range of topics including politics, business, technology, and social issues, adhering to rigorous journalistic standards and ethical guidelines.
Develop and pursue leads to uncover newsworthy stories, utilizing a variety of sources such as interviews, documents, and data analysis.
Collaborate with editors and other team members to pitch and develop investigative story ideas that align with International Business Times (IBT)'s editorial focus and audience interests.
Produce indepth, wellresearched articles, reports, and multimedia content that shed light on important issues and drive reader engagement.
Work on specific investigative projects tailored for IBT, focusing on areas of interest such as global finance, emerging markets, and international trade.
Utilize digital tools and platforms to research, analyze, and present findings in a compelling and accessible manner, leveraging multimedia elements when appropriate.
Maintain a network of contacts and sources within relevant industries and communities to stay informed of potential stories and developments.
Adhere to deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively to ensure timely delivery of highquality investigative content that meets IBT's editorial standards and objectives.
Stay abreast of current events, trends, and best practices in investigative journalism, continuously seeking opportunities for professional development and growth within the field.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in investigative journalism, with a demonstrated track record of producing impactful investigative stories.
Strong portfolio showcasing previous investigative work, preferably at a leading media organization or a smaller company with proven results.
Exceptional research, analytical, and storytelling skills, with the ability to uncover and present complex information in a clear and compelling manner.
