    Head of Operations – IBT Media & Pleroma Media

    IBT Media, a global business media company operating out of New York City with digital news properties in 20 countries, is hiring a Head of Operations to join the management team to support the portfolio of digital media properties owned by IBT Media and Pleroma Media.

    The Head of Operations is the architect of operational mastery, shaping the company's future while ensuring a well-oiled and smooth-running operation. Your mission will be to empower teams, enhance productivity, and embrace the power of synergy to propel the company to new heights.

    Responsibilities:

    • Visionary Leadership: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute a strategic roadmap, aligning operational goals with the company's overarching mission and vision.
    • Financial Acumen: Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning to ensure the company's resources are utilized effectively.
    • Streamline Operations: Identify bottlenecks, streamline processes, and implement efficient systems that boost productivity and improve overall business performance.
    • Team Empowerment: Inspire and lead cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data analytics to make informed decisions, identify trends, and proactively address challenges to optimize company performance.
    • Scalability and Growth: Develop scalable operational strategies to support the company's expansion and adapt to dynamic market demands.

    Requirements:

    • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated success in a leadership role, preferably as an Operations Manager or Finance Manager in a digital media company or news organization.
    • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred. CPA or CFA also preferred.
    • Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to translate vision into action, aligning operational strategies with broader business goals.
    • Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficient in utilizing data analytics and KPIs to make informed, data-driven decisions.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
    • Adaptability: A natural inclination for embracing change, adapting to dynamic environments, and evolving strategies as needed.
    • Problem-Solver: A creative problem-solver who can identify challenges and propose innovative solutions.
