The Role


As an Account Executive in the Public Safety Technology space, you will be responsible for selling Versaterm's SaaS technology solutions to Public Safety agencies within your assigned territory.

Your primary focus will be driving new business revenue and developing long-term relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and continued loyalty.


You'll work with the business development and sales operations teams to build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities within your assigned territory through proactive prospecting and networking activities.

You will conduct in-depth needs assessments and product demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of Versaterm's technology solutions to position yourself to negotiate and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

In order to excel, you'll relish the opportunity to collaborate with internal teams, including product development, customer success, and marketing, to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Like most government entities, building relationships with law enforcement agencies require time and attention typically achieved by attending in-person client meetings, industry events, conferences, and tradeshows within your territory.


This is a remote position located across the US and Canada that involve 25% travel within your territory to conferences and client sites so preference will be given to those located near major airports.


What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of proven sales experience in SaaS technology, preferably in the public safety sector
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and managing a large, complex sales pipeline
  • Deep understanding of the government procurement process and the ability to navigate complex buying cycles
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel within your assigned territory up to 25% of the time
