- Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age
- Train all new pharmacy technicians hired as well as provide ongoing training to existing staff, covering all policies and procedures.
- Execute all technician duties.
- Guide pharmacy technicians to achieve and sustain optimal team and individual metrics and objectives.
- Supervise a team of pharmacy technicians on the floor focusing on task support and team member development.
- Actively participate in CQI meetings.
- Complete system request forms promptly if needed.

Central Pharmacy Service Centers at Giant Eagle
Established in 1931, Giant Eagle, Inc. has developed into the leading supermarket retailer in the region, with over 410 stores across western Pennsylvania, north central Ohio, northern West Virginia, Maryland, and Indiana. The Giant Eagle Pharmacy caters to a range of customer requirements, from prescription filling and immunizations to conducting free health screenings and offering patient education, serving more than 1.8 million patients and dispensing approximately 25 million prescriptions annually. Giant Eagle Pharmacy runs two Central Pharmacy Service Centers supporting 200+ retail pharmacy locations, one in Freedom, PA, and the other in Columbus, OH. These centers operate behind the scenes with team members handling various tasks such as prescription data entry, interacting with physician offices, and patient outreach. Additionally, the Central Fill facility in Freedom, PA, is a closed-door pharmacy operation within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
