Dual Study Program

The Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Energy and Automation Technology offers you the opportunity to study while also completing an apprenticeship as an electrical installation technician.


Each semester consists of a theory phase at the Private University of Applied Sciences for Business and Technology (PHWT) in Diepholz and a practical phase in a company.

The theory and practical phases of the dual study program are closely linked and coordinated through training plans.


In the first two years, you will learn the fundamentals for a solid electrical engineering education, followed by a continuous development of scientific knowledge in the field.

In addition to subjects such as mathematics, electronics, software engineering, and control engineering, the curriculum also includes communication training, business administration, and personnel management.


The program concludes with the title of Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.), specializing in Electrical Engineering, from the Private University of Applied Sciences for Business and Technology in Diepholz.
