- Assists Consumer Loan Workout Officer with securing collateral, equity, or assets of the borrower to preserve the loan principal to prevent or limits losses.
- Assists with the liquidation real estate or other assets as necessary.
- Develops good working relationships with internal and external industry contacts.
- Maintains files and reports, inputs data in Bank systems.
- Responsible for maintaining forms and documenting/preparing outgoing correspondence for Consumer Loan Workout Officers to borrowers.
- Inputs financial data into systems.
- Assist consumer loan workout officers with determining if borrowers are in the military or bankruptcy to determine work out strategies.
- Other duties as required.
- Requires a High School diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years experience with consumer loan processes, credit, credit and lending analysis, banking or other directly related experience.
- A combination of experience and a college degree may meet qualifications.
- Advanced knowledge of loans, credit reviews, foreclosures, taxes, insurance, appraisals
- Must have excellent judgment, time management, customer service and computer skills.
- Ability to work with relationship managers and clients as needed.
