    The Senior PMO Project Manager will be a key member of our marketing leadership team. He/she will play a pivotal role in driving our global B2B success by leading program management of strategic marketing programs and continuous improvements that increase our commercial efficiency and effectiveness across both the life sciences and industrial sectors.

    This position requires a proven track record of project management, continuous improvement, including Kaizens, and cross-functional global collaboration to ensure the successful delivery of multiple commercial initiatives. The PMO Project Manager works closely with marketing, product management, and sales teams, and project sponsors to plan, execute, and monitor projects from initiation to completion.

    Job Duties

  • Program Planning: Collaborate with marketing teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria. Lead the development of project plans and hold team members accountable of deliverables, timelines and commitments.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work with leadership to define and execute organizational improvement initiatives. Conduct Kaizens with department leaders that accelerate problem solving and ensure solution implementation.
  • Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and requirements, ensuring stakeholders are informed, are bought in, and approvals are obtained as needed. Find creative and collaborative ways to get back on track if needed.
  • Resource Allocation: Work with managers to allocate resources effectively, ensuring the right skills and expertise are available to support project tasks and milestones.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks related to marketing initiatives, including market dynamics, competitive pressures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor project progress and deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards, brand guidelines, and marketing best practices.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare regular status reports, presentations, and updates for project stakeholders, including marketing leadership and executive management, to communicate project progress, issues, and risks.

    Job Requirements

    Education and relevant experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field; Certified PMP or equivalent project management degree.
  • Proven growth track record in project management, with a minimum of 5 years managing complex business projects and leading Kaizens in a corporate environment.
  • Technical skills

  • Experienced in building insightful dashboards and driving these with daily and visual management across departments. Reports comfortably to leadership on a regular basis.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools, such as Microsoft Project, Wrike, or Workfront.
  • Behavioral skills

  • Excellent, proactive communicator with social interpersonal skills. Active listener who can understand others' perspectives and respond appropriately.
  • Team player who values cooperation, synergy, and mutual support. Navigates cultural diversity seamlessly in a global organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize project performance.
