- Designing post-construction stormwater BMPs for transportation projects
- Performing field work / inspections of post-construction stormwater BMPs
- Development of Erosion, Sedimentation and Pollution Control plans transportation projects
- Analysis and development of drainage designs for transportation projects
- Understanding the interaction between all disciplines within the transportation team, design and preparation of roadway, erosion control, hydrology, drainage design, post-construction stormwater management, and construction plans and reports
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- 2 plus years of related experience in water resources, road, and highway design
- Experience in Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4)
- Background/Understanding of state/local drainage, erosion control and stormwater requirements and guidelines
- Minimum 2 years designing transportation projects for the Georgia DOT
- Ability to convey thoughts and ideas in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to organize data in an efficient and clear manner
- Georgia PE or willing to obtain within 12 months
- Excellent communication and writing skills (comfortable with preparing and giving presentations)

AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Transportation Civil Engineer based in Atlanta, Georgia area.
This position requires experience in roadway, drainage, erosion control and MS4 design and will be responsible for assisting the team in the development of transportation design projects for a variety of clients.
