Old National Bank is currently seeking to fill the position of Cloud Engineer. As a Cloud Engineer, specializing in Azure you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions that enhance end-user experiences, security, and productivity. Your expertise in a managing cloud environments will contribute to Old National Bank's transformational journey. This candidate would have leadership responsibility over managed service providers.

Key Accountabilities

Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of Azure, including networking, storage, backup, and disaster recovery, using the best practices and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders on best practices, troubleshooting, and optimization, and act as a trusted advisor and partner
• Use tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to write and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) to Deploy, scale, and manage cloud resources automatically.
• Monitor and manage the performance, availability, and cost of cloud resources, using tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Power BI, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Establish and apply cloud governance policies. Cut down on expenses by analyzing usage patterns and scaling resources as needed. Manage budget and track spending.
• Provide oversight of managed service providers (MSP) involves overseeing the delivery of IT services, establishing clear expectations, monitoring performance, maintaining communication, and evaluating the relationship to ensure that the MSP meets the agreed-upon service levels and performance metrics

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in Azure Cloud Computing Services or similar cloud solutions
• At least 3 years of experience in Azure virtual desktop or similar cloud-based virtual desktop solutions
• Proficient in azure virtual administration, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Experience in azure migration, backup, and disaster recovery
• Experience with designing and implementing endpoint management strategies using Microsoft Intune
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Certification in azure virtual desktop or related azure technologies is a plus

• Successfully designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications and infrastructure using best practices and industry standards.
• Effectively monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing the performance, availability, and security of cloud systems and services.
• Implementing and managing cloud automation, orchestration, and integration tools and frameworks.
• Collaborating with other engineers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality cloud solutions.
• Keeping up-to-date with new cloud technologies and trends, and incorporating them into their work.
• Providing excellent technical support and guidance to clients and end-users.
