- Manage field property claims, including full life cycle claims handling and field inspections
- Contact parties involved in claims, obtain statements, explain the claim process, and review coverage
- Investigate claims and identify indicators of fraudulent activity
- Assess damages and prepare estimates with detailed diagrams and reports
- Negotiate with insureds, contractors, and vendors
- Monitor salvage/subrogation potential and complete risk evaluations
- Maintain ongoing communication with claimants, agents, attorneys, and internal clients
- Conclude claims in compliance with state rules and regulations
- Assist with claims handling in catastrophe events
- Maintain continuing education for required state licensing
- Property claims handling experience preferred
- Currently hold or obtain appropriate state adjuster license
- Physically capable of performing field assessments and evaluations
- Successfully pass a motor vehicle check and possess an active driver's license
- Relevant work experience in home construction or estimating positions
