- Prepare students for externship (skills check off).
- Prepare students for national certification exam.
- Assignment may be a combination of theory and lab coursework.
- Five years of Clinical Medical experience OR any acceptable combination of education, training, certification, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be substituted for those listed.
- Must hold a valid CMA certification.

- Faculty members are expected to have access to a personal computer with virus protection that can connect to the internet outside of the work location (i.e., office, classroom, college campus)*. Subject to available funds, the college may be able to provide temporary access to resources.
