Description
Are you a software engineer who enjoys tackling hard problems? Promaxo, a diverse, passionate, and growing team, is seeking a motivated professional to fill our newly created Senior Software Engineer position.
Your primary responsibilities include:
Design and build new software features for an innovative robotic medical imaging platform
Develop multi-threaded programs and test tools in Python or C++
Data structure design and implementations
Documentation, program readability, code flow diagrams, sequence diagrams
Collaborate with software, imaging, product, data science, and clinical teams to gather needs and implement features for image-guided
navigational tools for our robotic systems
Understand, explore and integrate open-source APIs for development
Requirements
Master's degree in computer science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
5-7 years professional experience programming in python, C++, and related languages in a Linux-based environment
Experience with software development tools (gdb, gcc, git, IDE etc.)
Hands-on experience with low-level code development for embedded systems/instrumentation control with multithreading .
Strong technical skills, including proficiency in data structures and algorithms
Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
Outstanding collaboration and communication skills
Able to work independently on coding solutions, but comfortable seeking help or input from the team when necessary
