Oakland-based company seeking a Senior Java Architect with expertise in Spring, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, and Cloud technologies. This role offers a salary of up to €120,000 per annum. Responsibilities for this role include overseeing the entire process of their cutting-edge technology platform, continuously improving and redefining software development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture and a focus on maintaining high quality through automation.

They should also possess strong business acumen and be able to lead and mentor developers on the project. Some travel may be required.

Desired qualifications for this role include at least 8 years of experience as a hands-on architect and software engineer, a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, and leadership experience in creating, deploying, and delivering excellent software.

Proficiency in Java EE, web services, REST, JPA, databases (SQL server/Oracle/MySQL), Spring, Hibernate, SOA, EDA, design patterns, cloud computing, MySql, NoSQL (MongoDB and/or Cassandra), Linux, and DevOps is also required.

Experience with Hadoop, MVVC, or Apache Spark is a plus.
