Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing a logistics strategy that encompasses both operational execution and longterm capabilities.
Creating and implementing supply chain models to improve our logistics and transportation network.
Maintaining uptodate metrics dashboards to assess performance and make improvements, including managing carrier risk and performance.
Managing, coaching, and developing the performance of logistics personnel at all levels.
Initiating, coordinating, and enforcing optimal operational policies and procedures.
Leveraging and integrating new technologies, such as TMS and Transport Optimizer.
Evaluating cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
Receiving feedback and monitoring the quality of services provided.

We are looking for someone who:

Has 7-10 years of relevant work experience.
Has experience managing a team as a supply chain or logistics manager.
Holds a businessoriented degree, such as economics, industrial engineering, or a related field.
Has expertise in transport management procedures and best practices, with a strong understanding of logistics key performance indicators (KPIs).
