Job Summary and Qualifications:

What You Will Do In Your Role:

Support of facility-wide standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization activities related to the EHR and other clinical informatics initiatives
Audits and prepares reports of the electronic health record using tools for data collection and reporting of CPOE, PDOC, and other EHR project
Assesses impact on clinical workflow and facilitate workflow redesign to gain maximum benefit of new technology
Collaborate with the Director Clinical Informatics, Service Line Directors, and frontline staff on clinical quality initiatives to advance the Clinical Excellence scorecard.
Establishes and maintains strong relationships with the entire project team, clinical leaders, business leaders, IT&S leaders, and staff.

What qualifications you will need:

Bachelor's degree required, clinical degree preferred with strong healthcare facility experience. Master Degree preferred ideally with focus on Health Informatics
Minimum 3 to 5 years of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting
Previous experience involving the focused review/follow up of clinical documentation with special emphasis on evaluating diagnosis/severity related information is preferred
Meditech experience strongly preferred
Must have previous experience facilitating large projects which includes implementation of health technology
Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date) required, Health Informatics Certification encouraged
