PLANT MANAGER

Nyacol Nano Technologies, Inc., a leader in the development and manufacture of inorganic colloids and nanomaterials, has an immediate opening for a Plant Manager.

This position requires a hands-on and detail-oriented individual interested in working in a diverse manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the President and CEO, the Plant Manager is responsible for safety, quality, delivery and efficient workflow within the production department.

Responsibilities include:

Scheduling of production each week for a five-day, 24 hour operation.
Ordering of assigned raw materials.
Analyzing and reporting on manufacturing issues.
Implementing and monitoring cost savings initiatives.
Tracking and reporting of raw material usage and product yields using the ERP system.
Maintaining a safe workplace.

Qualifications:

BS in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
Minimum of ten years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Prior supervisory experience required.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with Sales, Customer Service and R&D.
Proven ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to a changing, fast-paced environment.
