Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.

Are you a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in the educational setting? Our State Assessed Therapeutic Support Program in Ithaca, NY is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team. This position requires a certified teacher in the ELA content area, as well as certification in Special Education (SPED).

Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students in grades 7-12 within a therapeutic support program.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement effective strategies for student success.
Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring to track student growth and adjust interventions as needed.
Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with communication disorders.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
Valid SLP license in the state of New York.
Certification in ELA content area and Special Education (SPED) for grades 7-12.
Prior experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
