    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.

    Are you a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in the educational setting? Our State Assessed Therapeutic Support Program in Ithaca, NY is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team. This position requires a certified teacher in the ELA content area, as well as certification in Special Education (SPED).

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide speech and language therapy services to students in grades 7-12 within a therapeutic support program.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement effective strategies for student success.
    • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring to track student growth and adjust interventions as needed.
    • Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with communication disorders.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
    • Valid SLP license in the state of New York.
    • Certification in ELA content area and Special Education (SPED) for grades 7-12.
    • Prior experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred.
    • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
