    **Retail Sales Representative - South**

    **Location Florida, Atlanta, North & South Carolina**

    **Exempt Position**

    **About the role:** The Retails Sales Representative- South is responsible in supporting both large grocery chains as well as creating a presence in smaller independent grocery stores. This role needs to have the ability to travel and reports to the Regional Sales Director - East at Chosen Foods LLC. The main areas of responsibility include:

    Generate sales, obtain orders, and deliver functions/services to support Annual goal obtainment

    Implement and manage annual promo calendars and trade spending for key retailers with the Sales Director's support

    Maintain accurate account records for communicating weekly updates to Sales Director

    Provide service to retail accounts with consistent support at the store level of business including trainings, demos, merchandising, store events.

    Manage the replenishment and inventory of strategic customers and assist internal sales department with account follow-ups and issues

    Monitor Key Account forecast and Regional Distributors

    Broker Management

    Acquire new accounts, business, prospects and leads both self-generated and those provided by company

    Expand the company's product line in accounts

    Develop new and innovative scorecards to analyze business performance and complete ad hoc requests for the sales and leadership teams

    Provide actionable insights on performance, trends and opportunities to the team

    The essential functions related to this role will focus on:

    Drive Chosen Foods sales for the specific South Region, new placements, new sku's expansion and new account creation.

    Broker and distributor management through regular contact with field reps, account managers and account executives, provide product training, market rides, movement reports, product performance and develop promotional support.

    Trade Expense Management and promotional planning

    Participate in industry or promotional events such as trade shows; to cultivate customer relationships.

    Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

    **Experience and Education**

    Associate's degree or related field

    1-2 years of sales experience

    **Skills and Qualifications:**

    Excellent communication skills

    Outstanding customer service skills

    Cheerful working attitude

    Problem solving

    Computer skills: MS Office Suite (Excel and PPT required)

    Teamwork

    Ability to learn new technologies

    Ability to work a flexible schedule
