    Description
    Organization: Tulsa Human Resources
    Job Location: Oklahoma-Tulsa-Tulsa Campus
    Schedule: Full-time
    Job Posting: May 22, 2024


    Duties:
    • Performs initial intake assessment of new employee relations cases.
    • Serves as a trusted advisor, strategic partner, and subject matter expert in employee relations, performance management, positive discipline, and workplace disputes.
    • Provides consultation and information on conflict resolution and the Staff Dispute Resolution process.
    • Offers confidential support to management and staff, collaborating with Legal Counsel and stakeholders to determine the best course of action.
    • Maintains employee relations activities in the case management system.
    • Conducts HR outreach visits for on-site issue resolution.
    • Provides internal customer service to HR staff for policy guidance.
    • Reviews changes in employment status to ensure compliance.
    • Develops and implements training programs for employees, managers, and supervisors.
    • Monitors program effectiveness and makes necessary adjustments.
    • Collaborates with relevant offices on complaints related to discrimination/harassment.
    • Assists in policy revisions and business process improvements.
    • Acts as the main contact for Employee Relations when the Assistant Director is unavailable.
    • Participates in strategic projects and organizational task forces.
    • Performs additional duties as required.


    Required Education: Bachelor's degree AND:
    • 36 months of professional HR experience in Employee Relations or related field.

    • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
    • Adaptability to changing demands
    • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
    • Strong skills in conflict resolution, interviewing, and investigating
    • Analytical and organizational skills
    • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
    • Effective communication with employees at all levels
    • Proficiency in composition and proofreading
    • Familiarity with PeopleSoft
    Advertised Physical Requirements:
    • Physical: Sit for prolonged periods. Use of a computer and telephone. Effective communication and listening skills. Ability to engage in repetitive motions.
    • Environmental: Standard Office Environment. Deal with pressure due to deadlines. Interaction with various departments and University officials.
    Supervision: 1- HR Coordinator 1- Sr Admin Assistant
