    Summary

    The Cook CD - Skilled is responsible for preparing cooked foods, performing station functions like Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and cooking eggs, communicating ticket times and issues to the manager, providing top-quality service, and more. This is a non-exempt position.

    Essential Functions

    • Follow recipes and/or product directions for food preparation
    • Taste products, estimate food requirements, keep records, and maintain cleanliness
    • Practice food safety and sanitation
    • Operate kitchen equipment, measure ingredients, and more
    • Stock, date, rotate, and check product temperature
    • Perform other assigned duties

    Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment

    • Food preparation skills and knowledge of standards
    • Minimum 3 years of related cooking experience in high volume or fast casual dining
    • Familiarity with food types and ability to comprehend instructions
    • Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds, bend, twist, and stand
    • Work with water, chemicals, knives, utensils, and hot plates
    • Experience as a Supervisor/Lead is preferred
