- Wound Masters Mobile Physicians PC. is a group of dedicated surgeons, physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners who are especially trained to provide mobile wound care and replace gastric feeding tubes at patient's: home, bedside, board & care, skilled nursing facility, and hospital.
- The hassle of transportation, hospital appointments, and re-admission is reduced to a doctor to your home to provide the same service with just a phone call.
- Clinicians will have the support of Wound Certified PA-c or LPN for consultation and documentation at the patient's bed side.
- We make every effort to reduce Home Health and Hospice agencies time between patients.
- The provider will monitor treatment until the wound is healed. Visit same day each week while avoiding conflict with the nursing schedule.
- Provision of hands-on care to patients as directed by Wound Masters needs.
- Application and management of topical wound care and associated wound management products.
- Recommendations for prescription of required medications and/or Durable Medical Equipment or supplies (DME) to facilitate wound healing and/or wound prevention within her/his scope of practice, license and as per the collaborative agreement with the supervising physician.
- Diabetic Foot Ulcer risk assessment for Members with Diabetes, as per the ADA guidelines.
- Pressure ulcer assessment and treatment in accordance with NPUAP guidelines.
- Consistent, timely, and accurate documentation.
- Transport to patient's bedside in your service area.
- Replacing G-Tube/PEG Tube for patients
- Use knowledge in Wound Vac Treatment
- Interpretation of diagnostic tests and recommendation of appropriate follow up to same.
- Debridement of wounds by sharp, enzymatic, autolytic or surgical methods able to be safely completed in the place of patient visit and all associated procedures to complete the debridement.
- Education of patients as to the topical and systemic management of their wounds.
- Education of the Primary Care Physician (PCP), CM, or referring Physician on current wound management practices.
- Complete documentation before 9AM the next day
- Possesses and maintains national certification as a PA; wound care certification preferred
- 1-3 years' experience at the advanced practice level.
- Must be computer savvy.
- Current, active, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the states listed
- Ability to travel and practice autonomously
- Excellent communication skills.
- Valid and unrestricted driver's license
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a professional environment
- Ability to set priorities while managing multiple tasks
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills

It may be time for you to become a Wound Master
We have immediate openings for highly motivated and clinically talented TravelingField Clinicians to treat patients in our current markets. The areas this position will service are Phoenix, Chandler, Glendale, Mesa, Sun City, Scottsdale. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the patient's wound care and visit documentation in a timely and efficient manner, working 1-2 days in a week.
Who We Are
We provide expert wound care services in the patient's home or wherever the patient resides, we save time and eliminate the cost of co-pays and transportation expenses. Wound Masters Mobile Physicians PC provides comprehensive wound care to health plan and medical group patients, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and Assisted Living Facilities, utilizing the most advanced wound care products.
Wound Masters currently services in areas within the Maricopa County.
