    Responsibilities:
    Experience performing in a multi-task fast paced environment with customers and team members to define and align project requirements.
    Bring metal fabricated, electromechanical assemblies and automation products from concept sketches to production with SolidWorks CAD/CAE/CAM tools.
    Lead the design of systems, mechanisms, and components for quick turn design and build projects.
    Specify and integrate

    commercial-off-the-shelf

    components into semi-automated products.
    Meet on time delivery, project budget and quality requirements while coordinating progress with project stakeholders.
    SolidWorks assembly, model and drawing creation, review, and document control in PDM system.
    Support production and deployment of

    new-product-introduction

    and equipment on launch.

    Minimum Required Experience:
    Demonstrated talent and track record in metal fabricated products, automation and machine design.

    Broad knowledge of materials (HRS/CRS, CRES, AL) and fabrication processes (laser and plasma cutting, bending, welding, powder coating and assembly, etc.).

    Experience utilizing SolidWorks/PDM software.
    Experience with structural simulation and analysis.
    Excellent problem-solving skills.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Preferred Experience:
    BS or higher in engineering field.
    3+ years mechanical design engineering role in an industrial, automation and/or machine building environment preferred.
    2+ years' experience utilizing SolidWorks for fabrication design.
    Experience with automation, systems and components.
    Understanding of Dimensioning and Tolerancing, ASME Y14.5M-2009.
    Familiarity working with Electrical and Software engineering peers on electromechanical controls, software concepts and integration.
    Finite Element Analysis (FEA).

    Work Environment/Physical Demands:
    Office environment where the noise level is usually low. May experience exposure to intermittent noise, dust, and hot and cold climates when in the manufacturing warehouse.
    Ability to sit at a desk and perform computer-based work for extended periods of time.
    Ability to stand, walk, and bend for short periods of time in office and warehouse environments.
    Normal vision (with or without corrective lenses) and normal hearing (with or without corrective hearing aids). While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
    Ability to communicate via phone and in-person.
    Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
    Must wear steel-toed shoes when in the manufacturing warehouse.
