    Our client is a local multidisciplinary civil engineering firm looking to add a Civil/Roadway Design Engineer to their team This firm that provides planning, design, and management services for transportation infrastructure.

    They have a strong relationship-based culture coupled with responsive communication and action which makes them the consultant of choice for state and local governments.

    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related engineering)
    ~10 to 15 years of experience in roadway design and plans preparation
    ~ Registration as a licensed EIT or PE in Iowa and Nebraska (or ability to become registered in those states)
    ~ Strong roadway design and plans preparation experience on DOT-related projects
    ~ Perform roadway design on interchange, intersection design, and highway improvement projects for DOT and municipal clients
    Manage the project from start to finiish
    Develop and maintaining good working relationships with clients and engineering partners; proactively engaging with clients to prepare high quality and cost-effective solutions
    Work as a key team member and task manager and mentoring junior design staff
    Actively assisting in new business development by contributing to strategic planning, marketing, and business operations planning
