- Performs calculations and designs basic engineering systems in collaboration with experienced design staff
- Prepares system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics
- Reviews reports, plans and designs for projects
- Attend client meetings with project managers and senior staff, continuing to grow relationships with staff and clients
- Occasional travel as required, typically under the supervision of senior staff for site surveys and field inspections
- Engage in ongoing learning and professional development to improve technical knowledge
- Grows knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office products
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural engineering preferred, or 3 years of experience without the degree
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Demonstrates moderate office computer proficiency
- Basic understanding of local codes and amendments, with the ability to interpret and apply the codes system designs and calculations
- Basic familiarity with building structures, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and how they interact
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit and BlueBeam Revu
