The Operational Performance Coach will help achieve operational excellence by coaching leaders, finding and solving problems, and continuously reinforcing the use of "One Agile Operation" tools and principles.

The Operational Performance Coach will help ensure the effective delivery, implementation, adoption of the "One Agile Operation" team performance method.

This involves delivering training, providing ongoing coaching and using existing operational expertise to establish reliable and productive relationships with operational teams, leading to a customer-oriented, continuous improvement culture of performance, empowerment and responsibility while achieving desired outcomes_.

Responsibilities:


  • Provides coaching and training to leaders and employees to develop and sustain One Agile Operation principles and components.
  • Communicates importance of One Agile Operation tools and principles, including customer journey optimization, coaching, motivation & engagement, visual management, worldclass standups, process excellence and automation, and performance insights.
  • Advises various levels of leadership on potential opportunities for individual development and growth.
  • Exhibits proficiency in engaging facilitation and delivery of business area programs, tailoring delivery to the needs of teams and their operational maturity.
  • Collaborates with leadership to drive consistent behaviors and practices through root cause analysis and problem solving.
  • Adhere to written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities, including escalating / reporting risk events in a timely manner in accordance with the risk event reporting process.
  • Gathers, classifies, and analyzes data relevant to operational results and processes.
  • Communicates results of analyses to various levels of leadership with cohesive, understandable, and appropriate message points, summaries, reports and presentations.
  • Independently evaluates information, situations, and problems, draws conclusions, makes recommendations, and seeks guidance on nonroutine processes and scenarios.
  • Exhibits basic project coordination skills and the ability to organize and prioritize work assignments.
  • Engage with various business stakeholders and teams to supply data, processes and other information required for project/product deliverables.
  • Work on other special reviews and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education
BS/BA Degree preferred (may consider equivalent combination of education and experience.)


Experience/Knowledge
5+ years of business experience, required

3+ years of operational leadership and/or coaching for performance, required

2+ years of training delivery, desired

1+ years of Process Improvement methodologies, such as Lean and/or Six Sigma, desired


Skills
Proven track record consistently demonstrating core behaviors of communication, collaboration, and purpose

Exceptional relationship building skills, with ability to influence and coach leaders and employees at all levels of the organization

Highly skilled at written and oral business writing, communication, and presentations with ability to effectively communicate to and influence at all levels of the organization

Demonstrated strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

Highly organized, with strong time management, planning and work tracking capabilities

Self-motivated, independent thinking with ability to manage work with mínimal oversight and direction


What's in it for you?


The total compensation package for this position may include other elements, such as a sign-on bonus, long term incentives, and annual bonuses.

This role is eligible to participate in the Legal & General America Annual Incentive Plan. The current target payment for the position is 3% of base salary, modified for corporate and individual performance. Bonuses are pro-rated based on start date. This role has 10 vacation days and 10 sick days that are accrued on a bi-weekly basis. Employees also have 9 paid holidays throughout the calendar year_._
