- Support the creation and maintenance of the Moody's Axis Protection corporate model for planning and forecasting.
- Identify and implement model changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis of model results to explain unexpected movements and identify errors.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide modeling support and expertise when needed.
- Run Business Plan processes and analyze results for senior management.
- Ensure model control and integrity by maintaining detailed documentation of changes made.
- Implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and minimize errors.
- Act as an expert on financial reinsurance deals and facilitate communication among key partners.
- Provide modeling expertise for internal needs such as capital efficiency analysis and pricing support.
- BS/BA in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- Advancing ASA or Career ASA.
- 5+ years of life insurance/actuarial experience.
- Expertise in Moody's Axis modeling and Life Insurance Product.
- Knowledge of US Statutory, Tax, and IFRS reporting.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet and database tools (Excel, MS Access, VBA, SQL).
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proactive, innovative, and capable of identifying trends in data.
