Job Description Summary:

Responsible for evaluating, recording, and analyzing financial data in accordance with company policies and procedures and with the framework of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Other responsibilities include assisting other supervisors, employees, and contractors as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Report on time as scheduled
Exhibit a positive attitude and effectively work with others
Ensure timely deposit of cash received (per Century Mining training guidelines)
Post transactions timely and accurately to accounting records
Generate financial reports for Executive Team review
Ensure timely and accurate analysis and recording of financial data
Maintain reconciliations of accounts
Perform assigned duties safely and competently
Maintain and utilize proper safety equipment and apparel
Maintain all training and certifications as required by the company and/or state and federal law
Practice good housekeeping
Be aware of surroundings and other employees
Identify, correct and/or report all safety hazards
Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Complete all required inspections and reporting

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Walk, talk, see, and hear
Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects such as tools or controls
Stand, sit, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl
Know how to use basic office machines and supplies
Ability to understand direction from supervisors
Ability to utilize MS Office software such as Word and Excel

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
3 years experience

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Overtime hours may be required to fulfill job responsibilities
Work is usually in an office setting
Conditions are mostly in a temperature-controlled environment
Occasional light lifting, reaching, and cleaning
