- Review responsive records, withhold information in accordance with FOI/PA and other applicable regulations, and assemble release packages. Assume personal responsibility for recommending release decisions.
- Process personal caseload of FOI/PA requests and draft response and/or referral letters.
- Consult with other federal agencies regarding release of their information when it is contained within DCSA records. Make decisions and initiate actions that involve the interpretation and explanation of FOI/PA regulations and policies.

Clarificaton: Current federal employees in the Competitive or Excepted service who live or are employed in the Fort Meade local commuting area, which includes the District of Columbia and Baltimore City; Maryland counties of Anne Arundel, Prince George, Montgomery, Howard, Harford, Charles, Calvert, Carroll, Frederick and Baltimore; Adams County in Pennsylvania; Virginia counties of Arlington and Fairfax and all cities existing in Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania within the geographic area bounded by the outer boundaries of the combined areas of the aforementioned counties.
