Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Status: Non-Exempt Hourly

Supervisor: Director of Property Maintenance

Position Summary

Experience/Education:

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred: Post high school technical training and/or two years construction or maintenance experience

General Description

Resolve and complete in a timely manner paperwork, work orders, and invoices

Ability to handle basic repairs around the restaurant

Painting inside and outside of buildings

Plumbing – knowledge to address leaks, clogs, or other drainage issues

Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building

Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with a building's electricity and/or equipment

Inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues

Repairing faulty equipment and damaged structures

Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures

Planning and scheduling repairs

Maintaining inventory records for equipment, work trucks and supplies

Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries

Keep job site clean and organized

Maintaining proper sanitation control

Load trucks and organize materials for the job at hand

Ordering parts and materials that are needed

Work as a team member

Maintain Forklift certification

Performing other duties as assigned or directed
