**Experience / Requirements:**
Four-year degree in life sciences or engineering.
10+ years of experience in sales in the biopharma instrumentation industry.
Experience working in a laboratory life sciences environment.
Technical aptitude to operate sophisticated instrumentation and software.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge and expertise of solution-selling processes.
Experience with CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.
Self-motivated with a growth and continuous improvement mindset.
The ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Expected East Coast US and Canadian travel approximately 50%.
Work remotely from home office in the I-95 corridor between Boston and D.C.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities:**
Be a subject matter expert on the value of FlowCam and software for biopharma applications.
Meet or exceed sales targets by managing the full sales cycle from prospect education to proposal generation and purchase order closing.
Demonstrate instrument operation and software features to educate prospective customers via webinars, workshops, and virtual and on-site demonstrations.
Work closely with Marketing to develop effective sales and marketing presentations and marketing content, including application and technical notes.
Work closely with Technical Customer Support to coordinate sample analysis when preparing for demonstrations.
Work closely with Marketing on new product development in response to broad customer needs and industry trends.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and deliver exceptional customer service.
