Representatives of the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS) will be at
Allegany College of Maryland, located at
12401 Willowbrook Road, Cumberland, Maryland 21502 in the Western Regional Correctional Training Building on the following dates and times.

SAturday June 1, 2024 from 10am - 4pm OR Wed June 12, 2024 from 4-8pm

At this event you will be able to
APPLY for any open position. Correctional Officer positions will be able to
APPLY and INTERVIEW during these dates.

Please bring a state ID or drivers license.

The _
minimum qualifications_ for this position include a high school diploma or GED; 21 years of age; US citizen or Resident Alien Status; Complete a background check.

No experience required.

Hiring Incentives:

Newly hired Correctional Officers will receive a $5,000 incentive - $2,000 after successfully completing their training at a Maryland Police and Correctional Training Academy and $3,000 after successfully completing their probationary period.

A regional hiring bonus of $2,500 is available for applicants who select the Hagerstown, Cumberland or Eastern shore facilities.
