Introduction
We are working with a medical device equipment manufacturer out of Springfield MA focusing on large scale production. They are hiring a Quality Supervisor (1st Shift) to join their growing team.
This role will offer you
Adopt a fully-formed team of 5+ inspectors and technicians.
Ample growth opportunity to grow your career internally - previous candidate was promoted internally.
You will be responsible for
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure the team's proficiency in quality control processes.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control processes.
Provide ongoing training to quality control personnel on new techniques, technologies, and updates in regulatory requirements.
Conduct routine inspections and testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to address identified issues and prevent recurrence.
You will bring the following
Proven experience as a quality supervisor
Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Proficient in the use of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., statistical analysis, Six Sigma, FMEA).
Must have GD&T - Six Sigma, FMEA, nonconformance experience is a plus.
