    The highly engineered and custom-built pumps are made of a wide variety of exotic materials and span an envious range of both centrifugal and positive displacement technologiesPosition SummaryWe are seeking a qualified Quality Supervisor to lead and manage the daily activities of our inspection team in a manufacturing environment.

    As the Quality Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring production efficiencies, maintaining product quality, and meeting the production schedule.

    Your responsibilities will include overseeing the inspection team, setting priorities in coordination with Planning and Manufacturing, and providing essential metrics for throughput, first pass yield, and other relevant measures.

    Additionally, you will be responsible for training employees in production inspection fundamentals and cross-training them in various facets of the inspection process.

    Principal ActivitiesManage employees' daily activities.
    Ensure the inspection team meets the priority schedule.
    Manage employees' hours and schedule overtime as spect product to ensure contract and drawing requirements are met.
    Notify the appropriate support personnel when there are questions on product quality, drawing requirements, etc.
    Support Government and Customer source inspection.
    Maintain work area, equipment and supplies in a safe and orderly condition.
    Set goals and manage employee performance.

    JOB REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree preferred, with at5+ years of relevant experience in hands on manufacturing or 10+ years experience in a machine shop environment in a Quality role.

    Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesRelevant experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
    Ability to perform multi-faceted projects in rapidly changing environment.

    Hands on familiarity of inspection tools and gauging (calipers, micrometers, ring and plug gauges, bore micrometers, height gauges, etc.)Knowledge of GD&T and understanding drawing requirementsExperience running a CMM a plus.
