    Some of your responsibilities as a Senior Mechanical/HVAC Engineer include the following:

    • Lead the technical development of HVAC systems for large and complex project types including Government, Science & Technology, Academic, Mission Critical and Commercial.
    • Communicate design intent and coordination requirements to owners, architects, and other team members.
    • Formulate design criteria, perform calculations, develop concept designs, specifications, and construction documents for high performance building systems.
    • Manage a team throughout all phases of design, assuring tasks are completed in accordance with company standards and good engineering practice.
    • Construction phase services including attending meetings, submittal and RFI reviews, and performing site visits.

    Essential Skills & Requirements

    • 7+ years of experience designing HVAC systems in high performance facilities.
    • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
    • Experience leading HVAC teams on technically challenging projects
    • Background in commercial, government, mission critical data centers, or hospitality is a plus.
    • Professional commitment to sustainability, LEED accreditation is a plus.
