    Head of SchoolRole Overview:

    Score At The Top Learning Centers & Schools seeks a motivated individual to take over as Head of School in our Miami location.

    The Head of School serves as the leader of the Score Academy campus.

    The HOS is responsible for student recruitment and retention and for ensuring the fulfilment of educational goals and outcomes of the school.

    We are seeking a positive, confident, entrepreneurial, and energetic self-starter to lead this Score Academy location. Ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced environment with lots of autonomy.


    Responsibilities:
    Sales/marketing & business development to build our learning center/school in

    Miami Florida:
    Enthusiastically promote our private school to prospective familiesBrainstorm new marketing ideas to promote our servicesMeet with parents to discuss educational plans for their children and to promote our services

    Coordinate Educational Support Services:
    Oversee and coordinate the daily operation of our 1-on-1 and small-classroom school, promoting academic progress, good attendance rates, and school safetyRespond to parents' phone calls for full-time school (communicate with each parent to determine his or her student's needs, match the student with the best teacher(s)/tutor(s), and keep our online database current)

    Create and manage the schedules for students and teachersSupport teachers as they develop and implement effective syllabiSupport teachers by suggesting appropriate classroom management techniquesOversee the effectiveness of all teacher-student relationships and academic instructionServe as the liaison between parents and the school to address academic and other issuesResolve all disciplinary issues, addressing issues with students, parents, and faculty to create a positive outcomeHelp organize and oversee twice yearly parent-teacher conferencesDetermine curriculum for enrolled studentsRegularly follow-up with parents and students to ensure quality customer serviceBe a nurturing influence to our studentsArrange professional development sessions for staffFile & advocate for accommodation requests with College Board & ACTAssist in our Cognia/AdvancED reaccreditationCoordinate with the Learning Center Director to ensure smooth operation throughout the officeManagement:
    Hire, train, oversee, and inspire the work of your staffReview & approve teachers' session notes before they are emailed to parents, intervening as necessary to ensure top-quality service to our studentsEnsure a smoothly running schoolCoordinate with our Controller to help ensure accurate monthly client billing and weekly payroll

    Candidate Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited U.S.

    universityExperience with LD and ASD students is preferredSpanish speaking is a plusJob Type:
