    Elevate Search is partnering with a rapidly growing surgical navigation company in Irvine, CA to find a Senior Mechanical Product Development Engineer for its team.

    They just had their best year yet and continue to soar

    This person will ideally have at least 5 years experience designing and developing orthopedic instruments (or similar). You will be working with a small, stellar team of engineers who have extensive experience in this space. GD&T, Design Control knowledge, and Solidworks experience are critical. This person must understand how to collect surgeon inputs and synthesize into appealing commercial designs. Minimal hand-holding. Need someone who is well-versed in rapid design-build-test cycles with teams of surgeons and sales people. Bench evaluations, cadavers, in-surgery evals.


    Duties & Responsibilities:
    Design and development of new products.
    Detailed mechanical design of orthopedic instruments, injection molded parts, packaging and electromechanical assemblies.
    Machine design, dimensioning and tolerancing, GDT, mating part analyses, fits and finishes

    Conduct product verification, validation & qualification testing for compliance with regulatory standards, engineering principles, company procedures and policies, customer requirements and related specifications.

    Document the manufacture of product in compliance with the company's quality system.
    Transition product from design phase to production.
