Overview
Are you called to support your community? M Health Fairview Emergency Medical Services has been optimally meeting the needs of our community for more than 134 years.
Our ambulance teams are staffed by some of the most expert Paramedics and EMTs in the region, helping to make M Health Fairview a leader in Minnesota for emergency and non-emergency ambulance service.
In the EMT role, we will provide BLS transport care to patients during inter-facility transfers and 911 calls, with continuous and dynamic training to provide ALS support.
Responsibilities/Job Description
Maintains knowledge of, and aligns with, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures and standards.
We actively participate in crafting and implementing improvements to achieve clinical, satisfaction and/or efficiency outcomes.
Documents information in EHR and/or other electronic system in accordance with program standards, department policies/procedures.
We safely and efficiently transfers care of patients to other care providers in appropriate setting (LTC, Hospital etc)
Required:
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR)
Emergency Med Tech Basic (EMT-B) from MN Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board
Emergency Med Tech Basin (EMT-B) from National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
Valid drivers license and DMV record that meets M Health Fairview EMS insurability requirements
Additional Requirements
Ability to safely lift, pull, push and carry a minimum of 100 pounds.
