- Acts as the shift Charge Therapist overseeing staffing needs
- Assists with medical procedures under physician supervision
- Performs CPR and airway management techniques
- Conducts therapeutic procedures and treatments
- Educates patients and families on respiratory care
- Performs arterial punctures and analysis
- Maintains respiratory therapy equipment and supplies
- Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care school (required)
- Bachelor's Degree in related field (preferred)
- Master's Degree in related field (preferred)
- Current Respiratory Care License (required)
- NBRC credential (required)
- RRT certification (required)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (required)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer service and organizational skills
- Ability to receive and apply feedback
- Proficiency in noninvasive respiratory therapy equipment
- Knowledge of various therapeutic procedures and diagnostic tests
- Understanding of EKGs, electronic monitoring, and arterial blood gas analysis
- Ability to interpret data and assess patient conditions

Job Summary:
The Respiratory Care Practitioner III plays a crucial role in providing respiratory care by assessing patients, planning interventions, educating, and evaluating outcomes.
They handle various respiratory procedures such as oxygen delivery, ventilator care, diagnostic services, and patient education. They also monitor and adjust therapies based on patient responses.Essential Functions:
Minimum two years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (required)
