- Serves as the shift "Charge Therapist"
- Assists physicians with procedures
- Performs CPR and airway management techniques
- Conducts prescribed therapeutic procedures
- Evaluates blood and urine laboratory values
- Performs arterial punctures and analysis
- Maintains Respiratory Therapy equipment and supplies
- Responds to cardio-pulmonary resuscitations
- Current Respiratory Care License
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credentialed
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- NRP and other certifications (preferred)

Job Summary:
The Respiratory Care Practitioner III is responsible for providing respiratory care through patient assessment, planning, intervention, education, and evaluation. Performs all respiratory care procedures including oxygen and aerosolized medication delivery, ventilator care, bronchial hygiene therapy, and diagnostic services.
Essential Functions:
Education:
Graduate of an AMA approved school for Respiratory Care (required)
Bachelor's Degree in related fields (preferred)
Master's Degree in related fields (preferred)
Required Licensing & Certifications:
Experience:
Two years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or equivalent (required)
Skills & Abilities:
Interpersonal skills, communication skills, diversity awareness, customer service skills, organizational skills, time management, accountability, data interpretation, knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and procedures.
Training:
EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) training (preferred)
