We are currently seeking an Electrical or Mechatronics Engineer as a Production Engineer (m/f/d) for DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung GmbH at our location in Nuremberg.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • As a Production Engineer, you will oversee the workshop operations in your defined area of responsibility, particularly providing support and assistance to production supervisors in electrical and mechatronic matters.
  • You will coordinate and make decisions on maintenancerelated issues, involving technical central offices.
  • You will determine maintenance tasks in accordance with applicable regulations, performance specifications, and work instructions.
  • You will take the lead on operational production projects and develop technological work sequences.
  • Additionally, you will ensure compliance with legal regulations, provisions, and instructions for the maintenance of rail vehicles.

Your profile:

  • You have a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, or are a statecertified technician with comparable knowledge gained through years of professional experience.
  • Ideally, you have knowledge and experience in the field of rail vehicle maintenance, as well as knowledge of applicable regulations, standards, and processes.
