    Description

    s Surveillance U.Division is seeking motivated Lead Production Test Engineer to work at our Headquarter facility in East Syracuse, NY.

    This will give you an opportunity to not only learn about Saab, Inc.

    products, but will give you exposure to a variety of test tools and testing technologies to continue to build your skill set.

    Lead team of Production Test Engineers and Production Test Technicians to meet business objectives.
    Integrates, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment in a production environment.
    Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and documents specifications and procedures for new products.
    Defines, documents, analyzes, performs, and interprets developmental tests for new and/or modified products or product components.

    Drives production testing development to take into account testability, efficiency and quality during the requirements definition phase of a program.

    Provides mentoring and broad technical guidance/coaching including lessons learned, viewed as an expert in field.

    considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

    Bachelor's degree (or Associate's degree with significant experience) in Technical or Engineering field is required.
    ~10+ years of professional experience testing, troubleshooting and repairing electronic products in a Manufacturing environment.
    ~3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
    ~ Expertise in problem decomposition, root cause analysis, and risk analysis using common diagnostic test equipment and software tools.
    ~ Experience with software and hardware integration and test methodologies.
    ~ Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel.
    ~ Familiar with electronic assembly industry standards such as IPC610, IPC620 and J-STD-001
