    Role Description

    Global Threat Solutions, LLC is seeking a full-time hybrid Security Account Manager in Florida. The role entails managing client accounts and delivering superior security services. Responsibilities include the daily management of assigned accounts, staff hiring, training, discipline, and termination. The position requires staff development and retention, coordination of support services, and problem-solving to manage the account effectively. The goal is to meet or surpass financial and operational objectives while providing exceptional customer service. The role involves maintaining or supervising the weekly operating schedules and payroll completion for security personnel. After-hours emergency response is also part of the duties when needed. The role focuses on building and enhancing client and employee relationships and managing security operations. This position is based in Miami, FL, and allows for some remote work flexibility.

    The ideal candidate will be an experienced Account Manager capable of managing at least 50 employees and must possess a minimum of 5 years of security experience with supervisory responsibilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily security operations at all designated client sites.
    • Manage security officers, site and shift supervisors, overseeing hiring, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and support.
    • Foster and enhance relationships with clients and employees.
    • Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding issues.
    • Ensure high-quality security services are delivered to protect people and property.
    • Address escalated security issues or emergencies appropriately.
    • Fulfill other management duties as assigned by leadership.
    • Cultivate staff's technical and professional abilities through performance management—coaching, counseling, disciplining, and recognition.
    • Ensure employee grievances are addressed and resolved with assistance from management as needed and keep personnel records current and accurate.
    • Adhere to all contractual hours with minimal unbilled overtime.
    • Organize and lead site-specific OJT, client-specific training, and annual refresher training for security personnel, aligning with Global Threat Solutions training standards.
    • Keep operational procedures updated so security staff can reference post orders in emergencies.
    • Actively engage with clients to understand and meet their needs, ensuring total customer satisfaction.
    • Implement Global Threat Solutions policies according to the employee handbook and memos.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in security management or a related field
    • Knowledge of security operations and best practices
    • Familiarity with risk assessment and threat analysis
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and on your own
    • Experience in hiring, developing, motivating and retaining quality staff
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • The ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate complex situations, lead a diverse team of employees, and meet ongoing client requirements is essential.
    • Previous payroll, billing and scheduling experience preferred
    • Certifications in security management is a plus
