    Description

    One of our clients is looking for a mid-senior Python/Data Engineer for a 12+ month contract with the following skills and experience.

    Top Skills:

    • 7+ years of professional Software / Data Engineering experience
    • API design & development (building APIs from scratch)
    • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform- (important to know because you are writing tools that interact with this landscape)
    • Strong ETL Experience

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of Backend or Data focused development experience experience
    • Advanced Python expertise
    • Experience creating and maintaining APIs using REST & GraphQL
    • Strong experience building out ETL pipelines
    • At least 3 years of experience setting up or maintaining applications in Airflow, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, or similar environments/tools
    • Extensive AWS experience with the following majority: S3, Lambda, Glue, EMR, Cloud Watch, EKS, ECS, EC2, and/or API Gateway
    • Strong communication and writing skills
    • Experience with SQL and relational databeses such as PostgreSQL (preferred).
    • Hybrid - 3 days a week at our Irvine, CA, Downtown Los Angeles, CA, or Seattle, WA offices
