    Job Description

    We are seeking a Web Developer to join our team.

    You will be responsible for crafting custom responsive Wordpress sites. As part of a small team of designers and developers, you will directly engage with clients to shape the appearance and functionality of websites, creating user-centric products that are immersive and user-friendly.

    • Experience in theme/app development in Shopify is a bonus

    Responsibilities:

    • Conducting user research to identify UI challenges and prioritize areas for enhancement
    • Designing, coding, and maintaining websites
    • Managing a design system
    • Ability to develop compliant and accessible themes following WCAG guidelines
    • Adhering to web standards and optimizing websites for accessibility (content and image optimization)
    • Maintaining HTML, CMS, or eCommerce platforms (such as Shopify, WooCommerce)
    • Staying current on web development trends and standards

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a digital marketing agency, web design agency, or similar field
    • Demonstrable portfolio showcasing design and development competencies
    • Bachelor's degree in Interface Design or related field
    • Proficient in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe XD, Sigma
    • Thorough understanding of HTML5, SCSS, Javascript, PHP, and other related languages
    • Skilled in Wordpress CMS environment
    • Familiarity with Shopify and Squarespace is advantageous
